Hi guys, congrats to all of those who finished chem (and best of luck for getting a good score). For those of you who felt that you were prepared for the test, how did you study? What books did you use? Now that I've finished bio, I think it's best to start early so I'm looking into picking up a book or two.

The barrons book is good, that’s what I used. In my experience the questions in the book were even a bit harder than the actual test. One thing that I didn’t feel prepared for was balancing equations. Barrons didn’t place a huge emphasis on this, but there were several questions on the test just about balancing. Easy points if you can do 'em quickly, but I took too long with trial and error and ended up skipping a few. People who had AP chem last year said it came more naturally to them after so much practice, so it’s up to you to evaluate where you’re at.
