How hard is the SAT chem by barrons. Cos i am doing stuff out of that book an i am doing horrible. I did well in ap chem last year got a 5 and an A but i seem to suck at this. I should be able to get around atleast a 750 since i got a 5 right?

Possibly,

A 5 puts you in the top 15% of AP Chem Students, the same level as a 750 for SAT Chemistry.

On the other hand, the test populations are different, so there may not be an exact correspondence.

I studied with Barron's... a month after my AP exam. I got 800 and a 5.

I studied out of Barron's took, but I didn't take AP Chem. I got a 770. Don't worry about feeling inadequate during the whole study process, Barron's has a way of making you feel that way lol

Would you think that it is good to be "overprepared" with Barron's then?

some of the information was useless i guess. i wouldn't say being overprepared would actually "help" as in the extra knowledge actually being useful, but it does make taking the actual one less stressful.

It does help a little bit, and yea, the real much is sooo much easier than barrons that at least it'll help with your confidence and not being so nervous on the actual test.
