SAT Chemistry - May 2014

I got Na for that one

My bad. It was actually At, which is Astatine.

It is indeed radioactive.

@Foerumokaz I know that question, that question was asking what would happen to the pressure or volume (I can 't remember which) if the other would increase or decrease. But there was a question that the answer was a straight line, or was that just wrong?

I think it must be wrong, because I didn’t put a straight line and triple checked those graph questions.

The pressure vs. volume at constant pressure was the y=1/x (inverse proportion) graph. The other one—either P vs. T or V vs. T—was y=x

So did you guys choose one of the charts that had a line going up?

A positive slop to be exact.

Yeah for the metals are good conductors one, I got TF, since metals don’t have positive and negative ions. They only have positive ions.

Yeah @BearGlove‌ is absolutely right

Why is the chem curve so harsh? I mean it’s 85 questions, and you can get up to only 2 wrong (83/85 --> 97%) to get a 800!

Hey watch it wingtour. We don’t know if we can trust you anymore.

You watch out @BearGlove‌ or should i say porcupine cup!?!?!?!?!?!

For the one asking which one H doesn’t react with, it was Ne right? and for the hardest to oxidize, I put F2, but could it be H2?

It’s F2 and Ne. Ur right bud.

@wingtour2000 Could you explain why it was F2? I put F2 too but I’m not exactly sure the reason behind the answer.

for F2 to complete an octet its easy to gain 1 electron than loosing 7 electrons since it has 7 electrons in its outermost shell

what about the lab safety rules ? and the radioactive element?
in which there are 3(6.02x10^23) moles present? question something like that

.

@ak1998‌ the first one was graduated cylinder, not buret

Lol did you just say a graduated cylinder is more accurate than burette? People in this world tsk go to community college @d0texe
