Does anyone have any data from schools on whether they combine SAT secton scores from diffrent test dates or simple look at the highest composite score from a single sitting? I've been trying to find out stuff on this with limited sucess...

I can't tell if this is the norm or the exception. I've heard that colleges take the best sections from diffrent test dates, but is that really true?

I'm not sure which looks better:
Option 1:
2290 on May test (8000M, 800V, 690W[11E])
Option 2:
2290 on May test (8000M, 800V, 690W [11E])
and 2250 (780 M, 720V, 750W) at a diffrent time [projected scores: i think my 800V was a fluke]
Option 2 totals to a 2350 if you combine, but makes the first scores look like a fluke if you don't.

You just send your scores and they'll do the combining for you if they combine. If they don't, then they don't. Either way, you don't need to worry about it.

Nice job on the 8000 math, by the way. I could only get an 800. Guess I fail. :p

Noodles is right. The thing is, what are you going to do about it? They will see all of your scores no matter what. So let them do what they want with it.

I suggest not worrying and let them do their thing

I have gotten 550 in math and 450 in verbal in SAT Reasoning Test. And 470 in Physics, 510 in Writing, 550 in Math Level 1 test of SAT II Subject tests. I have a lot of community involvement, very high GPA and a lot of extra-curricular activities. I want to transfer to Harvard from CUNY Hunter College in fall 2007 as international student from a US school. Should I take the SAT's again? What subjects tests should I take. Are my chances for admission affected by lower SAT scores? can you give me some tips to score high on SAT's. Thanks.
