<p>Hello everybody, I'm new here to this site. I wanted to know how I can improve my vocabulary and writing. Math was not bad, but it wasn't great. So junior year, I took the SAT and I did terrible. I score a 1180/2400 and I was devastated. I really wanted to score in the 1700 and above range. For the Critical reading I got a 370. For math I got 410 and for Writing I got 400. Is there any way I can increase my score? I have until October 1 or December. That should be enough time right? Please tell me what I should do. </p>

<p>First read a prep book like princeton review and then take as many practice tests as possible( make sure that some of them are the official collegeboard blue book tests)</p>

<p>consider hiring a tutor. But before you do that, do self practice with princeton review types of books.</p>
