SAT CR vs. SAT II Literature

<p>I want to study for both the CR section and the SAT II lit. I know the lit test uses literary techniques and other "english class style" questions, but is it similar to the CR section otherwise? Or does it employ different test-taking methods and will studying for it lead to confusion in deciphering those tricky CR questions?</p>

<p>If it helps any, I have a friend who scored an 800 on CR and only a 700 on lit.</p>
