took the sat in march and i bombed it, i have two months (until June 7) to prepare for it again. i scored a 1400! i know it sucks, and its ruining the rest of my excellent resume. My goal for june is to score a 2000 or above...i know its impossible. I have Barron's 2400 sat prep book, and i got Barron's hot words for the sat, i hope these books help me.

Everything looks good except for the SATs. I'd find a practice ACT and try it. Some people do much better on it for some reason, plus it has a science section (I've never tried it myself so it might just be very unsciency) and you say you are interested in biology so maybe you'll like it better.

You choked. Thats okay anyone(including colleges) can see that is not an accurate representation of your abilities. That score might even be better than say a mediocre 1600 or something because that could seem like you did your best and it was just awful. With a 1400 you know it was fluke. take it again and you'll likely get around that 1900 again or better if you really work at it.

Just study study study! The SAT is all about overcoming the random tricks the college board throws at you. The only way to do that is to practice problems routinely.

Thanks everyone for your encouragement. And colleges are going to see my 1400 correct? god im doomed, and btw i went in stone cold with no prior preparation for that test. But i have purchased barron's 2400 sat prep book and ive noticed that as i've been doing their practice problems i always have a consistency of getting questions wrong due to lack of vocabulary knowledge.

it seems like you're really dead-set on getting your SAT score up. Take the may test if it's not too late to register, or atleast make sure you practice one test full-on (breaks, correct time, etc.) like the real deal before the june SAT. having scored so low and then bringing your score up a whole lot may even look really good to a college (it depends which), because they will see progress, initiative and dedication through the numbers.
