SAT Critical Reading books

Apart from the blue book, rocket review,Barrons,McgrawHill, Kaplan, Princeton Review and Sparknotes, what books that I should have in critical reading. I have practiced this part for 3 months and finished about 30 practice tests but my scores are not improved. What should I do? Please help Me !!!

The other books don’t help. I increased from the low-600s to a consistent 800 through the Blue Book alone. Review the BB if possible since this is the only legitimate source. Also, be sure to have good control over vocabulary. Many study Direct Hits; I only studied my vocabulary from a electronic pocket dictionary, but many members here seem to have great success with that series. Be sure to read challenging literature or argumentative essays, in particular those from magazines with a political focus. The more you read, you will read more quickly and with greater comprehension.

grammatix…

Someone just posted links to the Collegeboard practice tests. Have you done those 3? Also, see if your school counselor has any copies of past PSAT’s. The other option is to do the practice tests from the Collegeboard Online course.

I would also brush up on your vocabulary. Direct Hits is great. Both of my kids used it and it helped immensely. Even if words did not appear on the exam as the correct answer ( but quite a few did), many of them were wrong answer choices so they were able to eliminate them.

Thank you very much
