The most difficult part of the CR bit is the high level vocabulary (I have a wide vocab and usually only recognize two or three words.) and my passage reading skills. How can I score and 800? When I come to passages, how to should I take them in the most efficient fashion?

There is no “most efficient fashion.” Try out the following:

Read passage, answer questions

Read questions, read passage, answer questions.

Read questions 1 at a time, go to relevant part of passage, answer, repeat

and any other approach you can think of, and see what you’re most comfortable with. Practice with just that and you’ll improve.

It’s terrific.

For vocab, try to see what word “feels” right. Look for roots in the words to try to decipher the meaning, and trust your instincts. Direct Hits is usually enough for most of them though.

Thank you! Where would I be able to purchase “Direct Hits?”
