@saffysparkles yeah, i did agent for and usurped

For the point of the ink I put to explain why some inks once were fragranced. And for the musk that something about hard to find? I completely guesswd

Permafrost question: Exacerbated the collection of pollutants in the lake because global warming could accelerate the releasing of pollutants?

What’s the Volatile Question??

volatile* i meant sorry…i am really scared about the critical reading section…i dont think i did too well…

I didnt pick musk was hard to find.

I said it served a practical and asthetic use.

i thought it could be inspiration for scholars because it was talking about how the scholars desired fragrances as they write

I created a chatroom if anyone wants to discuss CR answers:

I got that one too!

hey just a curious question

how do you know if something is experimental or not?
i had like 4 reading sections. does that mean 1 is experimental?

Volatile is correct. I didn’t like the fragrance one either. I chose to list out the items needed to make ink, because it merely stated that the writers enjoyed sensual smells as well, but not why they did or what their motivation was. As for the second question on the same passage, what was the importance of the muck? The answer choices confused me.

For the fragrance one, I got something close to ‘explained the reasons for fragrances’ or something.

for the question in the Barbara passage, I put the answer about the ambassador, I was second guessing myself with the inventor though

I feel like the listing the ingredients wasn’t right though, because the fragrances weren’t really “necessary” to make inks, they were more like little additions?

i put patent. wasnt it that a woman got to be a keynote speaker for the first time?

I think it was about african american civil rights, not being a woman. 144 years ago, obviously AA people had almost no rights. So for her to be speaking there was like ambassador of a newly independent country giving a speech at the UN.

same ^^ I put e - united nations speech but I was vacillating over the patent and this. But then again wasn’t she already in a gov position for a short while? I might be wrong.

can someone compile a list for vocab// passage?

sardonic or angry? i put sardonic

For the Barbara one I put Ambassador of a country that just gained its independence.

Both questions on the fragrance passage were hard, I think I had the most trouble with that passage out of the entire test.

I put that the main idea was to explain why they used fragrance in ink (I was thinking it could have been list the ingredients, but that seemed a little too narrow, and the other confusing answer choice was ‘to show artistic expressions in writing’ or something like that).
For the musk question, I put it was a common ingredient in the ink, it didn’t seem right but it was better then the other answer choices like ‘It was expensive and hard to find’, etc.

Btw for the mayan art short passage, the question that asked what was the significance of “unique rims”, I put that archaeologists used it to date them. I was thinking about the fact that it had stories but I remember the passage said “and even the unique rims seem trivial when compared to the surface of the pots…”
