<p>Are there different curves for different dates for the SAT I?
It seems logical that the October test would have an unmerciful curve, seeing as the majority of seniors with their last chances for the SAT would take it then. But also, my friend claims that the January test has the worse curve.</p>

<p>The curve is based on how difficult the test is, not who you’re taking the test with. that’s why there is an experimental section - because it gives information on how to curve future tests!</p>
<p>However, SAT Subject Tests are curved based on how everyone else did :)</p>

<p>Hmm never freaking thought of that. But assume smart people wouldve taken it in march and june and gotten over it. </p>
<p>Many dumb ppl might have never taken it and decide to take it in october.</p>

<p>yo, however said that tha curve based off of how well other did is wrong; tha curves r PREDETERMINED by CB. thas wat many on this forum say too.</p>
