SAT December scores delayed!

<p>I just got an email that my scores are delayed 5 weeks.I didn't cheat or do anything suspicious in the testing room.I took the test in Egypt.</p>

<p>This is the email:</p>

<p>We at ETS are highly committed to quality standards and fairness. After every test administration, we go to great lengths to make sure each test result we report is accurate and valid. It is with this objective in mind that we sometimes take additional quality control steps before scores are released. </p>

<p>For the reasons stated above, your December SAT scores are delayed while we conduct an administrative review. Our practice is to perform this review, which may take up to five weeks, on each test score in certain circumstances. We know this delay can be very frustrating. Please know that colleges and universities have made clear that it is preferable to wait for valid scores, rather than to receive scores that subsequently are cancelled. </p>

<p>At the conclusion of our review, you will be notified if there are further questions concerning your scores. Otherwise your scores will be reported to you and to schools you have designated to receive reports. If you have not heard from us in approximately five weeks from today, please feel free to contact Customer Service by email at <a href="mailto:sat@info.collegeboard.org">sat@info.collegeboard.org</a> or by phone at +1-212-713-7789 Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Eastern Time. </p>

<p>Happened to a lot of egyptians. Usualy the delay is not 5 weeks though. It’s “up to”.</p>

<p>According to the previous oct. and nov. delays in China, if ETS says five weeks, then it will be exact five weeks!</p>

I took it in Menese and every thing was going great there … nothing wrong …
Don’t worry , those who didn’t cheat will not be affected :slight_smile: they will check our scores and our test centers once more , that’s it …
It’s not the first time this happens in Egypt , Some teachers told me although it’s my first SAT .
Be Hopeful , and let’s wait … </p>

<p>@kabkry‌ I’m sure they will release the scores… I’m more worried about what in gods name are they going to do with them.</p>

<p>Yes , but maybe there’s something wrong they are investigating …
Look guys apparently there’s the same problem in China in November and December Tests ,
Not only in Egypt </p>

When will the scores for the December SAT come out? I am a Chinese students and I received an email saying that my score is delayed. How will this affect my applications then??</p>

<p>I’m facing the same problem in Japan, but the College Board did not send me any kind of message about delaying my test scores. Is this how College Board functions all the time? </p>
