Ok, so I warn you, this is going to sound a bit confusing but I really need some impartial advice. Sorry it's so long.
I took the March SAT cold, just to see where I stood. Didn't do so great so I got a tutor. Yes, I realize SATs can be aced without a tutor but I lack the motivation and focus necessary to successfully self-study. I was doing about 2 released SAT Is per week, and my scores were going up considerably. My final practice test came out to about a 2200, which I made me quite happy. I was planning on taking the May SAT, acing it and taking SAT IIs in June. Well, three days before the May SAT, I got incredibly sick. I stayed home from school for 2 days (well actually I went into school for the first two periods....couldn't fathom missing ap bio) and tried to get my strength up. Test day came around and I was still feeling miserable. I took the test, but I completely blanked out. It was a complete and utter fail. It was like I had never seen any of the vocab, math concepts and I started panicking. I know my scores are going to be repulsive, but because of score choice I decided not to cancel. Anyways, I was completely bummed; so was my tutor. Initially, she decided that I would have better luck on the ACT, so she gave me a practice test and that went alright (not great/not comparable to my projected SAT score). Thus, she decided I should refocus on the SAT, apparently my mind is more suited to the SAT. (whatever that means). She's trying to convince me to take the SAT I in June, and forgo my subject tests until October (but continue to prepare for them anyway, just in case I don't get in on standby). I personally think this is a bit absurd, as I am more than adequately prepared to take my SAT IIs (U.S. Hist and Bio M). There's no guarantee that I'd get in on standby, so I kind of feel as if either way I'm screwed. I'm especially screwed if I do poorly on the SAT Is in June, which would leave me with only one chance to take SAT IIs and retake SAT I in October and November.

Any advice? What would you do? Thanks in advance for any advice!
