SAT Dilemma!!!

Let's try this again...
I'm a junior who will probably take the new SAT but is trying to get good old SAT and SAT II Writing scores just in case. I took the SAT I in Nov and got a 1550, but I also signed up at that time for Dec just in case. Since 1550 is a good score that most people say don't retake, I was going to switch the Dec. SAT I to SAT II Writing, but it turns out it is too late for that now. Should I go ahead and take the Dec SAT I in search of the elusive 1600 (I have a 800 M 750 V now and I've made 800 V in practice before, so I could maybe even go for a 1600 composite) or should I just forfeit my registration fee and sleep in?

Plz let me know what u think!

Forfeit that registration- Retaking a 1550 looks BAD to college admissions officers, they would much rather see you do some community service or lead a club or something like that- RELAX AND SLEEP IN OR USE THE DAY TO STUDY FOR SEMESTER FINALS (if your finals are like mine and occur prior to Christmas)
BTW CONGRATS ON THAT AWESOME 1550!

bumpity umpity

r u sure it's too late to take writing? maybe u can do stand-by? in any case, i think a 1550 is excellent and it won't matter if u got a 1600. You should just worry about doing well on the new sats.
