Sat doesn't really test algebra 2

Really. There excuse for algebra 2 is function notation (i.e. f(x) or g(x)=...) and a couple of other not-really-algebra-2 examples. On the May sat, there was only 1 question that could not be solved using algebra 1. One actual algebra 2 question. WHATS THE POINT!?!?!

well, the algebra 2 questions are easy. :p

there are word problems where you use two equations.

2 equation word problems were on the old sat also... and thats not algebra 2...

i never saw one until I took the new sat. huh. weird.

I remember taking the old SAT I back in 7th grade and getting a perfect score. That was also the year I took Algebra I, so I hadn't even finished it when I took it (of course, I was involved in math competitions).
