SAT Equivalent

I know there are millions of concordance tables for ACT-SAT conversions around the web, but I was just wondering if you guys could help me figure out a more pin-pointed ballpark of where my ACT score lies within a conjectured SAT score range.

My breakdown is as follows:

E - 33
M - 35
R - 33
S - 32 (Ran out of time. :( )

Composite: 33

[This was my first time taking the test, and I'm not taking it again.]

[On a side note, my search for concordance led me to find some statistics regarding averages among different populations and sub-groups. ACT score averages and standard deviations, by sex and race/ethnicity, and percentage of ACT test takers, by selected composite score ranges and planned fields of study: Selected years, 1995 through 2010 Notice the average for African-Americans. How can it be that it is so much lower than that of everybody else? As an African-American myself, such an average is demoralizing.]

According to the ACT site, a 33 places you in the 1440-1480 range for CR/M or a 1460 single score. The estimated new SAT score is 2180 or 2140-2210.

Sounds accurate in my opinion

Another thing that I was curious about:

I read somewhere that some universities like Johns Hopkins and others will convert your ACT scores/sub-scores and use them as a basis of comparison for admissions purposes.

I really hope that’s the case because my 35 M beats the heck out of my 690 on the SAT math.
