Does anyone have experiences/recommendations for SAT essay class or grading service? It could be either online or offline, and provide comments and feedbacks after grading.

Thanks.

Thanks.

I used the online service provided by the College Board to grade my essays because I didn't watnt to take a course. It worked pretty well for me. I probably did about 10 practice essays and got mostly 10s and lik 2 12s. When I took the SAT in March i got a 10 on the essay, so I guess the online grading was pretty accurate. I only took the SAT once though so it could have just been luck/coincidence, but overall I was pretty happy with the service.

The other thing I did was experiment with different writing styles/formats to see how the score would change. Like I wrote an essay on one topic using 2 body paragraphs (2 examples) and then wrote a very similar essay with only 1 body paragraph (1 example). The first time I got a 10, the second an 8, so it basically helped me figure out what type of format they're looking for.

I can’t find that essay grading service by College Board. Everything they have is tied with a full online SAT class package. Can you post the link?

Thanks mucho. :)

Best approach - purchase online book “SAT Essay Formula” at [SAT Essay | SAT Preparation | SAT Test](SAT Essay | SAT Preparation | SAT Test). After completing exercises in the book, submit essays online for scoring and comments by author Rodney Daut. My son scored 2-3 on the practice test essay and scored a perfect 12 on the real SAT essay after working with Mr. Daut.
