SAT essay examples

I am taking the SAT tomorrow. I am most worried about writing the essay, mostly because I am scared my brain will freeze and I will be unbale to think of examples. Are there some basic people/books (ie Martin Luther King) that can be used as a last resort generic example in case I freeze and can't think of anyhting good?

I was really worried too, but i found the essay to be the easiest. Are you in Ap Us history or Us history? US history i found has many examples. My question was like if government should regulate our lives, or should we be more individual and independent, and i talked about preconstitution.

But basically, US history is good, as well as like novels that i'm sure you've read some (Huckleberry Finn, Great Gatsby, Death of a Salesmen, Crucibles) etc. I didn't mention a lot of personal experience, because i didnt know how creditted my experiences were.

In my experience, the graders are pretty flexible in how you choose to interpret the prompt. Take this opportunity to go back and review all the books, plays, etc that you've read recently (Sparknotes), or even movies, so that you can readily incorporate them into your essay. When you read the prompt, also think about how you can weave in things you've learned in history or other social sciences that will make you seem intelligent and knowledgeable. If you blank out for material I guess you could still score highly if you resort to giving personal experiences, but I haven't had to.
