SAT Essay Guideline

For those of you who got 10s and 12s, can you share the types (and the number) of examples you used? It would also be helpful if you can explain the generally structure you use.

I received an 8 on the March SAT exam, and would like to get at least a 10 on the June exam. I consider writing one of my stronger points but tend to do poorly on the SAT essay writing portion. According to my tutor, I have a good writing style but lack the structure and the specific style that the SAT essay graders are looking for. On the March exam, I used one example, thinking it would be okay as long as I elaborate on it thoroughly. Um but it seems as though that 3 examples are practically essential for the high grades?

Please, please, please help me :) I know this is a kind of annoying post but it would mean a great deal to me if you respond! The impact of the essay grade is huge on your overall writing score...ahh it ****es me off so much!

So, please leave allllll the tips you have!!!! :) (1 last q: Also, are there any books or historic examples that seem to work about 99% of the time?)

hahah okayyyy I know this is kind of unecessary but I feel the need to um correct my post so you guys know I'm not completely illiterate.

I meant general, not generally. I need help, but not THAT much help...hahah
