SAT Essay-Specific/Memorable Examples with Numerous Applications.(Needed Urgently)

I would appreciate if you (not just refer but) post full examples (from literature, history, personal stories etc.) that are specific and memorable (with humor, action, controversy, irony etc.) and could be generally applied to diverse SAT topics.
Along with the example if you could also write down a few categories it can fit it, it would be great!

Thanks in advance!

Yeah this would be really helpful.

sooo i see no one has replied and im not really in the mood to give you guys detailed responses but i can refer you (even though thats not what what you want). I always find myself using:

Their Eyes were Watching God- SPARKNOTE IT! can use it show how you need to follow your heart to find happiness, the journey to maturation, etc etc. basically anything!

George Washington- great man, apply him to whatever, courage, sacrafice, wisdom, values

Teddy Roosevelt- always true to his own character (ex. bear moose party, panama canal issue)

hope that helps, wikipedia them for more!

Gandhi- mostly works =P

Mother Theressa? sacrifice, noble, courage
enron scandal- actually I tried to summarize this in an essay, but it is kinda difficult, dont know to make the details succinct- dishonesty, corruption , greed,

I got dissed on when I asked about this back in May. People on this board accussed me of being unoriginal, not authentic.

Some good ones I always use though are

Catcher in the Rye (Independece, Isolation, Escaping reality, Idealism, "phonies")
Brave New World/1984
Great Gatsby (Materialism, American Dream)
Macbeth/Hamlet

Those cover almost all the bases.

I used Gandhi and MLK on my essay once and it got me a 7 =[. I used it during a practice test at some class and it got me a 12. And I pretty much applied them the same way.
