<p>Is the SAT online essay grader (by the college board) accurate in its grading. I got a 10 and I want to know if that is accurate.</p>
<p>Not really. I believe the online grader is based solely off of length. (Although there is a strong correlation between a high score and a long essay)I got 12s on all my online essays and 8s on my real essays, but that doesn’t necessarily indicate that the online grader is much more lenient than the real graders. I am just much more conservative with what I write and too reluctant to write fluff on my real essays, and I ended up writing much less than I do on practice essays.</p>
