Is it worth doing the SAT with the essay or just the SAT without the essay? Will it increase my chances of getting in? or I can skip it?
From the Rutgers Admissions FAQ:
“The SAT essay and ACT writing component, though not required, are strongly recommended.”
So yes, taking the SAT with the essay will definitely increase your chances.
