Can somebody post final list of books
For math,cr and writing sections?
From what I read from the posts I have some confusion.
1. For math, in addition to blue book which other book will be good- gruber's or dr Chungs?
2. Direct hits for vocabulary. I have hot sat word list book, is it worth to buy 2 direct hit volumes?
3. How about cr and essay ?
4. I still have one year to go to High school.. If I buy all the books now, would the sat pattern change?
I have these books so far:
Bb
Barron's flashcards
Sat vocab hotlist.

Also how to start preparing? One section at a time like finish off math and the start cr etc?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is 320 sat math problems book any good ? Or Better to buy gruber’s?

Same basic question here…our S is trying to increase scores from ~2000 (600CR, 680 M, 720 W - 10 Essay) to ~2200 over the summer.

He has the blue College Board book (has taken most of those tests), both DirectHits books, and the “PWN the SAT” math book.

Seems like the Dr. Chung book for math is a good one. Any others?

Any suggestions to improve CR for passages and vocab (beyond Direct Hits), or to go the last mile towards 800 on the Writing section?

Any other good general practice books like Barrons?

@satbuster I really like the 320 book - I use that with the bb.

Happy camper.

Thanks Keeyano. Better than Chungs?

Hey, I don’t know if 320’s better than Chung’s but I don’t think Chung’s gives multiple solutions like the way the 320 book does.

I guess there’s no harm in taking a look at it!
