is it true that USC doesn't require sats for international students whose grades are all A or better?

On there website it says that only students who apply to film, architecture and jpurnalism must subnit SAT's scores, reffering to internationals.

hey.. i'm an international student too.. what if i had my scores sent to them? will they ignore it? or will they use it for admissions evaluation?

I don't think they'll ignore it. But it's nice to have a top school that does not require an SAT score from non-native English speakers for a change.
I am an international myself, and chose to take the test. Because most other schools do require taking it, I assumed it was the same at USC and decided to take it. It can't hurt, anyway :) But the safest thing for you to do is probably call and ask them if it's still a factor in your admissions.
BTW, did you send out your entire app already? Just curious and wanna see how far behind scedule I am!

I would recommend that you take the SAT I regardless of what's said on the website ... unless you are from China where SAT is not offered. You are putting yourself at a disadvantage by not submitting your SAT scores.

You are competing with other students from your country, as well as other internationals. These students will have one up against you if they have decent SAT scores.

As English is not your first language, the adcoms will be more considerate if your verbal score is not as stellar as your math score.
