SAT for JANUARY!!

I was wondering if anyone knows that if you are re-taking the SAT 1 in January, is it necessary to send an official score report right now, and then one after the January exam, or is it alright to just send it after the January exam?

I faced the same predicament regarding the December SAT II for Early Decision. I sent a report of all my previous scores and also ordered a report to be sent that included my December scores. I was accepted ED, so that worked for me. I would do both if I were you as long as it does not pose a financial problem to send two score reports.

Yep, that's exactly what I've done. I'm planning on taking the SAT II in January and I already paid for that score report to be sent to Penn once scores are available.

But if you haven't sent SAT scores yet, they're not going to get to Penn before the January 1st deadline anyhow. Regardless, if I were you, I would send one score report now and one after the Jan 1 test.

i did the exact thing as westmere. I took the SAT I in december n applied ED. I sent in my previous score (i only had one) i also ordered an official score report but i wanted them to have the scores rite wen they came out so once i found out i went to my guidance counselor who printed my scores out, signed them, n faxed them for me so they wer more official n so they would get the scores faster. i checked my penn portal the day after n it showed tat they have my scores. i also did the same thing with my act scores. i also got accepted so good luck!

wait didnt the decisions come out for ED Dec. 15? DId taking it an SAT on Dec. 6 play a factor? how? and im stuck in a situation where ive never taken this particular sat 2 before and its very important considering i wnana major in the area. Will they get the scores for a fisrt time Jan. Sat 2?
