Hi guys, I am kind of worry about something...

When I registered for the SAT in December, I remember putting down Stanford as one of the 4 free waivers, but no when I check the history, the scores still have not been sent. I am not sure if they'll be sent soon... but just to make sure I am wondering if the December scores does not get sent in, will they just use my November ones (these, I am sure they have already received).

My main worry is that on the CommonApp, I put on the Writing portion that I increased by 20 Pts for the December test, so will they just disregard that and use my November scores since they have not received my December ones? Or will the just disregard the whole application :-(?

Just to clarify, you took the December SAT and used one of the four free, automatic score reports to send your score to Stanford? In that case, I would have thought that the scores should already have been sent :(. Is there some way for you to check with Stanford, perhaps through an applicant portal, whether those scores were received? Accord to the school’s admissions website, they explicitly stated that they prefer to receive all scores by Jan 1.

If they were to review your application before receiving your score report, they will use your November score----there’s no way they will disregard your whole application.

Thanks for the response. Do you recommend me to send in the scores today and hope it’ll make it? Or is it a bit too late already :(? I’m very worry now :(!!!

Will not sending in my December affect my chance at all? I mean it’s only a 20 pts increase. What I’m mainly stressing out is that I put the December score on the CommonApp :(…

can’t you go into collegeboard.com, then into Send Scores, then into View Score History (at the bottom right), to see which scores have been sent where?

I’ll do that now. Lets hope it’ll make it in time :(!

If it doesn’t come in on time, do you think it’ll jeopardize my admission since they think that I’m making up false information on the Common App? Or will they just be fine and ignore what I put and use my November scores?

Your Stanford December SAT must not have been sent. I also used the free score reports from the December testing, and CollegeBoard reports that all four were submitted on December 19th.

Stanford, from what I hear, is rather a stickler for deadlines. However, if you did order an additional score report yesterday, then the admissions officials might believe that you ordered the score reports on 1/1; any lag in score receipt could be considered CollegeBoard processing. I say this became I ordered my scores for HYP on December 31st, but they were only sent today, 1/7.
