SAT FORUM FOR THOSE WITH THE Asian Girl/Poetry Translation/Luminiecene

"you failed to make an accurate conclusion"

i put he needa keep distance/rely less on observations made in the wild blah blah but i'm not sure about that one at all

i put conceive 2

Passage 2 experience, how was it described, it was the question before the "you didnt form an accurate conclusion" . . .i wish i could remember the answers

he failed 2 verify a conclusion?

so 2 for "failure to make conclusion"

and 2 for the other answer . .

bestmiler- i thought you were the same person that made the thread "heartbroken rejectee" and i was like WHa? cause u had said this was ur first SAT, and then that thread said 1540/2400.. then i realized teh 1 was in a diff place.. lol how do u guys have almost the same username?

Chalk up another for 'failed to verify a conclusion' here.

no actually this is someone else, i'm using his acct because mine is temporarily banned . . i know its confusing lolz, he had to make this one when the forum wasn't working . . my other acct has 3000+ posts

For the Asian girls one, one of the questions was like
"after she saw those two other girls when she went to the contest, what can you infer about hte two asian girls"
a. they have professional training...
anyone remember any other choices,, what was the answer to that one
or is it like something question identity

and for the writing...
what was the rest of the sentence with "no one but me"

OK, she felt that the other contestants couldn't "fool the panelists" was the correct answer since they didn't even look like her and they had the bodies of models when Helen was a regular Chinese girl.

I put NO ERROR for the sentence with "nobody but me" since "me" is correctly used as an object pronoun. Remember you only use "I" when the noun is the subject like with "Sally and I".

i thought that was the asnwer to another one "she realized that she couldnt win"
i think you are referring to a different question

Nope solars, Helen always felt like she would win because she secretly knew that none of the contestants would be able to fool the panelists.:)

so the answer was not something about questioning her identity

Most definitely not...she was not insecure in any way but rather felt like her parents were being silly...

That one question about her parent's comment I believe is critical...demoralizing. They critique the fake asians on tv and say that real asians never get on tv.

And the models couldn't fool the panel and she was unsurprised.

Also and question: did you guys who took this version think that the W was really hard?

so the answer was not something about questioning her identity

that was the question b4 the "was not surpirsed the panel picked her"?

^ Yes writing was very hard. I had 2, one was experimental but I think the real one was the hard one :(

Also and question: did you guys who took this version think that the W was really hard?

totally. i really hope the 2nd writing section's experimental

"so the answer was not something about questioning her identity

that was the question b4 the "was not surpirsed the panel picked her"?"

Yes, it wasn't about questioning her identity and she wasn't suprised that the panel picked her because there wasn't a large enough market to pick from of asian actors. (surprisingly, if you got the main message/tone of the passage, you would get all of them correct)

I thought both W were hard :(

when will they say which sections are experimental?

when u get ur score back
