SAT General and SAT Subject nath difference

Hello.
So, the University that I'm trying to apply for undergraduate studies requires an English Proficiency test (TOEFL,IELTS or SAT) and a Math proficiency test(SAT).
As I've already taken the toefl and I got an acceptable score of 104 , I don't need to take the SAT English test. Thus i wanted to register only for a SAT Subject test for math.

However as there are 2 levels of math subject test I had absolutely no idea as to which one should I take. When I called to the University Admission office and explained my problem they answered that the difference between those two levels is insignificant and they consider them equal. I still have no idea as to which level should I take. :(

Which level is closer to the math included in the SAT General test?

Sorry for such a long post :D And thanks in advance :)

The SAT II Level I contains the math closer in difficulty to the SAT I math sections.

However, many people widely regard the Level 2 test to actually be easier than the Level 1 test because the curve is far more generous on Level 2. Usually you can get 5 wrong and still receive an 800 on Level 2.

That being said, I’d advise that you take level 2 if you know the material, because it will look better on your application and the curve is more generous. Otherwise, go for Level 1.
