Hi guys,

About the grid ins on the SAT I Math section.
I've heard, and i hope for the sake of common sense that it is untrue, that if the answer to a question is for instance 0.2, you should put .2 and not 0.2. As it is said that 0.2 would be marked wrong.

I am not talking about cutting a long decimal. Just 0.2, like 1/5.
I believe this is false because it is stated no where on the official Collegeboard that 0.2 would be considered wrong. Moreover the grid ins are corrected by PC, and the program is able to consider unreduced fractions as a correct answer, which means it is somewhat elaborated. So it doesn't make any sense that it would consider 0.2 wrong over .2.

This probably doesnt make any sense at all and it is probably obvious that 0.2 is correct.

So what do you guys know about this ?

thanks !
