Has anyone ever used the SAT "Hand Score Verification" and actually resulted in a higher SAT score? If yes, has the College Board explained why the score is changed as a result of the Hand Score Verification?

i had a question about that.

what if your score actually becomes LOWER after they check it? would they just leave it as your higher one or would they change to to a lower one?

^they would change it to whatever score they got AFTER hand-scoring it, even if the score was actually lower.
