SAT Help plz!!!

Hi,

Hi, I am currently a softmore and I am taking the SAT test for the first time on January 23rd, 2010. Unfortunately, I have a list of problems.

The Writing Section: I continuously lose points on this section. For example, on the 35 question (25 minutes) section, I had only 25 questions as correct and 10 as wrong. I really need help on this section, can anyone give me a certain strategy they use to approach the questions? I would really appreciate it.

The Math Section: Whenever I do this section, I feel confident as if I received a 780,790 or a 800 on this section. I end up receiving a 570-650 on this section. I am quite advanced in Math in my school, yet this section always brings my overall score down by large amounts. Is there any strategy or strategic way to approach these questions, especially the grid-in questions?

Finally, once I do a SAT test (real), should I check my answers and learn why I I received wrong answers?

Thanks! I appreciate your help.

Is

You need practice. Tons of practice. Buy/Borrow as many SAT prep books as you can get. Improvement in your situation is totally doable.

Wrong spelling, sophomore. Try taking the PSAT first. Before even taking the practice test, boost your vocabulary. SAT math section has trigonometry and Adv. Alg. Are you that far ahead in school that you’re taking junior level courses? Writing section is the easiest of them all, my opinion. It’s mainly about how one tense agrees with another and past, present, and future tenses. Instead of buying as many books as you can, save money, and look online. There are many practice tests out there. But do buy the blue CB book, it is essential.
