I realize most people say not to take the SAT too many times but my scores just aren't where I want them to be. I've taken the SAT 4 times (once sophomore year so didn't do well then) and my Superscore is a 1950 660M, 660W, and 630CR. I haven't studied much for the SAT and after taking a practice test for the ACT I found it much easier but I only scored a 29C on the December test and now it's too late to retake in Feb. Overall, my SAT score has increased by 260 points (thank goodness!) but I'm still looking to improve on the Jan SAT. My realistic goal would be around a 2000 but I would love to see 2100-2200. Any tips on how to do this? I have the SAT study guide and will take practice tests but I'm especially looking for pointers on the SAT essay (can't get above an 8) and the CR section, mostly the passage-based section. Thanks for any advice!

I can’t take the act because it’s too late for colleges by February. I wish I could though.

My point for retaking the SAT is to get more scholarship money because my scores are the only thing holding me back. It’s not so much for acceptances. Not sure if that makes a difference.
