SAT I and ACT - Should I take the SAT IIs?

<p>My question is whether or not it would be a good idea to take the SAT II subject tests. If my current test scores are adequate for Yale, I see no reason to waste my time and money taking the SAT IIs in January. </p>

<p>I have a 34 overall on my ACT, and a 2240 on my SAT (1st sitting). What does everyone think? The Yale website makes it sound to me like they won't even look at my SAT I scores without my SAT II tests. Is this true?</p>

<p>I had a similar ACT score and didn't take the SAT IIs. If you think you'll perform well on the SAT IIs and may strengthen your application, then go for it.</p>
