Heard that Harvard this year truned down almost 50% of applicants who had perfect score on SAT I, is this ture? I know to get into Ivy's you have to be well balanced but Is it 50% too much?

It's true. Harvard rejects alot of perfect SAT scores. But they have to. Think about it. What good would a class of 1700 be if 1500 of them had perfect SAT scores? What about the athletes? What about the debaters? What about the band? You can't just field an entire class with kids that are good test takers. You need diversity.
