My guidance counselor advised me that I should apply at least somewhere SCEA or ED. After considering it, I figured I would. The only thing is, the early deadline is about mid November, and that would allow for only one more go-around for either the SAT I or SAT II. I had before decided that my SAT II scores were kind of dry and needed some help, but after a good amount of research, I am now told that my CR score is way too low and I should retake. So, as far as scores go, I have a 2140 (CR-620, M-790, W-730) for the SAT I and USH-700, MI-690 SAT II.

The last thing is, I think I want to major in Spanish, so shouldn't one of my SAT IIs be in Spanish? I taught myself the language, and I'll probably write an essay on it. That's something else I have to consider. Thanks so much for your help!

Well a lot of schools don’t require SAT IIs. You could try the ACT which is a different weekend, and SAT 2 and if the ACT is bad just submit the reasoning test. Check if the schools you wanna apply to require SAT 2’s and that changes your choices a lot.
Also if you apply ED as it is binding it should be your top school, and if you really really want to go there you might as well wait until your application is it’s strongest in the spring. You can apply EA to safeties so you’ll be in college, but time to focus on the schools you really want.
As for SAT 2 Spanish, I hear the languages are really hard because the native speakers take the test and get 800s and ruin the curve. But you might as well try it, considering all mentioned above. Good luck!

Oh, I’m sorry. To clarify, I plan on applying early to one of the Ivy League schools. I’m not going to bore you with a list of ec, gpa, hooks, urm, etc. Base this on scores alone.

Ahhh. Then I would probably wait until regular decision, or try your hand at the ACT and Sat II and hope for the best.
