june: 2140...i know it's not really up there...but at least i'm done with the SAT!!

M 760
CR 760
W 780

I am from India

Do all Indians score so high? At least on cc, it seems that way!!

Hi, Malaysian here. On the June SAT, I got...

Critical Reading - 800
Mathematics - 760
Writing - 780 (78 MC, 10 essay)

i feel pretty insignificant right now!
oh well...

Yep, me too! Should I take it again in the fall?

For those who scored so high: Is English your mother tongue or a second language (classes taken in school ect...)??

second language. Is 2210 high enough?

rumi_stacy, 2210 is pretty darn high, don't worry. What schools are you looking at?

cheesecake:
English is my first language. What I think really matters, though, is how long you've been reading English books. I've been devouring them voraciously since I was four.

rumi_stacy:
As a rule of thumb, I think 700 for each subject is good enough for any top college. There are a lot of other intangible factors involved in the admissions process, such as the interview and essays. From what I know, most schools only use the scores to ensure they aren't admitting complete losers. A good SAT score only gets you one foot in the door.

Ummm....the following are not SAT 1 scores but ummmm anyways...

SAT 2 Physics:800
" " Math 2c:780.

:) Surprised I was!

cheesecake, i'm looking at a great variety of schools from ivies to pretty normal ones. however, what matters most is that i do not only need to get accepted, but also to get scholarship and/or enough financial aid so that i can attend the university

johnleemk, so for you the SAT's are not foreign language tests... i wish i could say the same. i've been studying english since 8th grade and and for me the language is not a problem, but still it is not the same if the vocabulary is in your mother tongue or not.

you guys are too good.
