SAT I Writing / ED

How is Penn viewing the Writing portion of the SAT I this year?
For some reason, I was under the impression that Penn and Harvard are two of the few schools that are emphasizing it.

Also, what is Penn’s ED acceptance rate (or projected acceptance for this year, if known)?

I hope they will count it...

I talked to my college counselor she told me that she heard from many universities, not Penn though, that they are just using it for statistical analysis to measure the correlation between writing skills and success in college.

It will most likely count now coming up for this year.

As for ED, you can expect a 25% acceptance rate (1 in 4 chance) for Colleges of Arts and Sciences.
As for Wharton, about 18%.

THis is based upon last year's acceptance rates and the projected increase in applicants this year.

25% acceptance rate is not a 1 in 4 chance, but yes 25% sounds correct for ED.

where do u found out last year's acceptance rate?

Why is a 25% acceptance rate not a 1 in 4 chance?
