I am seriously contemplating not retaking the SAT II in October before I ED princeton. So far, my SAT II's have been: World History 770, US Hist 770, Bio M 700, and IIC 640 (OUCH!) I'm def taking Latin and Lit in october. So I was wondering how many people got into pton ED or RD WITHOUT taking a math SAT II, because I know it isn't required unless you do a BSE. Thanks for the help.

If you're not after a BSE then it's absolutely fine. Give them three great scores and you're all set. Your world hist and hist scores are excellent, and your Bio shouldn't hurt you, but could be a little higher to pack some extra punch.

I have an 800 US Hist, a 780 World Hist, a 760 Lit, and a 600(!!!!) Math IC. I accidently took the IC instead of the IIC, but still!. I was recently visiting Princeton and I asked the admissions officer if it was reccomended or if it would be looked down on if I didn't use a math SAT II. She said absolutely not, play to your strengths. That was a relief, because other schools like Stanford practically force you to take the IIC.

Yah, no worries about math. They don't require it and you can submit three humanities SAT IIs if you want.

wait so say i have four sat ii scores, but one of them is a little low. if i only fill in three of the blanks, but my official records show i took 4 sat iis, is that going to be considered shady?

No, because they only want your three highest anyway. They'd just assume you put your three highest bc that's what they want. The official report is only used to confirm what you put down on your app; it's not going to be shady if they see extra stuff that's well...EXTRA lol
