<p>What are the best books for the SAT II math, writing, and biology?</p>
<p>Also, what do most people consider to be the easiest of the science SAT IIs?</p>

Writing: ... not sure. I used quite a few - I really liked Kaplan, though, if I had to choose one, although the writing part of the Barron's PSAT book helped me tremendously.</p>

Math: I used Kaplan and it was okay. Its practice tests are very accurate.</p>

<p>Btw, I've also been told that if you study from and know the Cliffs AP Biology book, you're guaranteed a fantastic score.</p>
<p>I initially bought the Barron's for Math IIC but it was really hard to understand and not very helpful. I ended up getting the Princeton Review Cracking the SAT II Math and got an 800.</p>
<p>For Writing, I bought the Kaplan's but I didn't really read much. Just did a practice test and skimmed some sections really quickly. I got an 800 on that one too.</p>
<p>For US HIstory, I also had the Kaplan's. This was really helpful and I studied the entire thing over the course of one day since I haven't taken all of US History yet (and the stuff I did take, I took a year ago). I ended up getting a 770. This book was really helpful.</p>
<p>I studied with Barron's, PR, and Sparknotes for both the Math IIC and Writing tests.</p>
<p>Here is why:
-Barron's is hard, but preps you well
-Princeton Review is an accurate reflection of the difficulty of the tests
-Sparknotes is a cheap way to practice more tests (I think its ~$25 for prep on ALL SAT II tests (like 3-5 tests each subject))</p>
