so I took the May 2015 test for ecology and I scored a flat 600. biology is one of my stronger subjects and I took AP Bio this year as well with an A in the class. I got the Barron’s book and studied it inside and out but only had time to take 1 or 2 practice tests. on the actual test barely anything I studied in the Barron’s was on it and most of it was experiment based questions. I’m going to retake it in October but I really need a good way to studying for it. please any recommendations for more accurate practice tests or prep books?
Ugh I also took it in may except I did bio M. And I got a 650 
I feel you . Cuz I did well in my AP bio as well. And in the Barron’s book I did the two practice tests and took like 3 practice tests in this one test prep center I go to. A few weeks before testing time Id get 700s on my practice test so idk what happened on the real one. Though I found it harder than practices tbh. I wouldn’t completely blame Barron’s cuz I feel I still learned a lot by studying it and I think this may test was actually kinda harder. I also felt time pressure a bit that day. Anyways enough of my ranting. I’m still debating on retaking in October but if I do I’ll probably review over Barron’s and order college board’s practice book thing.
I took SAT II Biology last October and got a 750.
I studied for about 2 months using Barron’s and Kaplan.
I don’t know if they are the best but they worked out for me!
