SAT II Bio. range of score.

I took a sat ii bio today. after test, one of my friend asked me the range of score? in more specific, to get 800 on bio test, how many questions can i make a mistake?

in the princeton review book, 800 is only -2 raw score. in the real sat II tests(blue book), 800 is only -6 raw score. Therefore I am very confused.

Please answer.

thanks.

same question, plz post cause i'm gonna take the test in 45 min

I am in the same boat as you all.

Has anyone taken this exam yet?

i wonder if there was any anatomy type stuff... if so, im screwed.

Yeah, I have the test also in like less than an hour along with US history; so, someone answer the question.

haha... dude i have US history and biology sat IIs also... just those, so I can go home at 10:30ish...

I feel more confident about US history since it's not hard to get a 750+

Do u need AP US History for SAT II History. I haven't had AP US History. Can I prepare using PR Test Prep Book

k i just took bio and left 4 blank and got 3 wrong. I'm shooting for a 750+, should i cancel adn retake in june?

oops... i think i left 4 blank and guessed on 8 probably about the same as u icyfire

You dont need to cancel to retake..it can't hurt you unless you think you're gonna get like 200 points lower than the score you're shooting for.

by the way, the sparknotes curve is a little too harsh

Every single book I've looked as a different curve; it's so ridiculous.

how's the curve for the bio m for 15 wrong and 5 skips

I left two blank...

and think I missed maybe one or two... hopefully an 800...

As long as you get a 700+, you are fine.

i guessed one two and just googled em... i got them right. :D

because I think I did very well, I am not studying for the AP BIO test on monday.

amnesia, do you know how many you can get wrong to get above a 700?

no, but let me find my REAL SAT IIs from the CB...

I'm the same way, btw... Ivy or bust. :p

Here is the SAT II official centering from the REAL SAT II: SUBJECT TESTS

80 800
79 800
78 800
77 800
76 800
75 800
74 800
73 790
72 780
71 780
70 770
69 770
68 760
67 750
66 750

it says this is the average scaled score conversion.

****... out of 80 i can get 10 wrong and still have a 750+ FU(K YEA

Right, but if you get questions wrong they deduct points; so, if you got 15 wrong then they subtract another 3.75 from your total score; that leaves you with a 710, roughly.

yup... which questions do you think you missed?

i can only think of one/two...

i left the path of blood through atriums and the human female ones blank.

The only questions I had trouble with were the 5 question on heredity/genetics in the beginning; I think I got some right. I rushed through the nervous system of a worm (think I'm right, I didn't get to check). Everything else, I was comfortable with everything else, for the most part.
