SAT II - Biology, Chemistry, or Physics?

If a college doesn't specify which one of the 3 science-based SAT II tests a student needs to take, which one should he choose, especially if he is leaning towards studying engineering and would take the Math 2 SAT II as well? I was thinking Physics.... Thanks!

Choose chem and/or physics. Both are great for colleges and can be easily self-studied.
Only choose bio if you are taking the ap class, it is mad boring to study on your own.

Thanks! They don’t offer AP Bio until senior year here. Would someone in Honors Biology as a sophomore be prepared for the Biology Test? Don’t ask me why they stopped offering Biology to Freshman in this district…

My friend took Honors Bio as a freshman, took the test after his junior year, and made in the low to mid 600’s. Just to give you and idea of the difficulty.

Do you think that year or two he waited to take it affected his score? I was under the impression you should take the test at the end of the school year in which you had the subject so the content is still relatively fresh in your mind…

If he studies bio thoroughly with Cliff’s and/or Barron’s, he should be fine for a 750+. Physics has a really nice curve, so that’s a plus. I don’t know much about chemistry, other than it’s quite a bit easier than the AP equivalent and can be successfully self-studied.

Disneydebk- the wait DEFINITELY affected his score. I’m sure it would have been much higher if he had just finished an AP Bio class.
