**SAT II Biology December 2015 Discussion**

I agree with @avu017 . At first I felt pretty confident when I got a decent score on the practice test but then I realized.
Collegeboard is not, by any stretch of logical reasoning, a merciful entity. It will deceive, and punish you. I’m expecting a much harder test on Saturday than the one I encountered on collegeboard. The only thing I do believe is the distribution of content and what subjects will be on the test.

Oh everyone who I know who took it in November thought it wasn’t bad. But then again the standard in my school for scores seems to be lower than it is on here, so what they thought were good scores might seem on here to be only okay.

@AGoodFloridian Thanks for the pep talk haha. It helps that my AP Eng Lit teacher is giving us poems to read at the beginning of every class, so I’m familiar with some of the literary terms already. I’m taking World History and have been reading my chapter outlines and listening to audio recordings. Not sure how much I can really cram in 3 days, but I’ll try to keep my chin up while taking the test.

Good luck tomorrow everyone!

A little thing I might be doing tomorrow. Look over those vocabulary terms commonly used and confused on the test. As previously mentioned, Quizlet is a good resource. You see a word like “Gibberelin” and you think “That weird word won’t be on the test”. Assume the worst my friends, the SAT isn’t there to be your pal.

Hi everyone! I just took the test, how are you guys feeling about it?

I thought it was harder than expected… how did everyone do?

Not bad

I think it was pretty horrible. I was NOT prepared for this. I self-studied everything from PR and I felt like a lot of material wasn’t covered. Also, I panicked and I ran out of time so yeah… I would actually cancel my scores if I hadn’t taken Lit too. :frowning:

I’m pretty sure I messed up on the lab-styled questions, :((( Most of the questions I had been prepared for but the lab styles ones (that one worm one) i was totally unprepared for.

Same here, I read PR cover to cover, and somehow felt like I did horrible. I think I might consider canceling :-<

The lab questions were definitely the hardest part for me as well. They took up way too much time too

I don’t think I did too poorly. There was one question where I was pretty sure I had the right answer, but I doubted myself and erased it at the last minute. But I would have been right if I had left it. So I’m over-fixated on that right now but other than that I think I did okay.

Did you guys do E or M? I did E - I used Barron’s and it didn’t cover quite a few sections in the M test.

I took E and thought it was ok. I used Barron’s to prep.

I think Barron’s came in really clutch for this test

@Brajia I agree

do u guys have any questions that were troubling

I used barrons too and it didn’t feel difficult to me. I know I got the question about bicarbonate ions with blood wrong oop

was it a buffer
