Hi. I am new to this community and I have heard of the members' reliability in answering questions from helpless people like me.

After receiving my scores for the SAT II Biology, I was disappointed with my scores, as it did not meet my expectations. Also, there was an error because I took the Biology E, but the score report shows that I supposedly took the Biology M. Nevertheless, I am retaking the SAT II Biology in order to increase my score.

I would be very grateful if people post their scores and their method of achieving those scores. Also, I would like to know study plans and what books I should be using to prepare myself for the October SAT II.

Thanks.

You probably should call the college board about that. Your score would be expected to be low if it states you took another test. I heard that reading the Barron’s Bio Subject Test book cover to cover twice or thrice is pretty good preparation and should adequately prepare you for the test so you should be able to get 700+.

PR + Barrons are all you will need.
I had no prior knowledge, used these two books, go a 770 on Bio E.

Alright, thanks for the information. I will use both PR and Barrons, as I have both of those books at home. As for calling College Board, I believe they charge $50 for the handchecking process and I think that’s a bit too expensive.

Go with Barron’s!! PR was a HUGE dissapointment for me… 730 :(

btw what did you get

I did horrible and got a 690… I am hoping to get over 760, which is what i am getting on my practice tests now.

Does anyone know how good REA is?
