Hello!

I am taking the SAT Bio M test on June. I tried to select some prep books but cannot make a decision due to excessive numbers of prep books on market. Is AP Bio prep book is sufficient to use with one SAT Bio prep book? Then, which one is best in your opinion?

Cliffs AP Bio - Barron's SAT Biology - Kaplan SAT Biology

Barron's AP Bio - Barron's SAT Biology - Princeton Review SAT Biology

Cliff Notes AP Bio - Barron's AP Bio - Princeton Review SAT Bio

Barron's SAT Bio - Kaplan SAT Bio - Princeton Review SAT Bio

Cliffs AP Bio - Barron’s SAT Biology are all you need. get them fast since the test is in 2 weeks. reference: selfed AP bio-5 SAT Bio-780

Cliff Notes AP Bio is the best.

Can you tell me for Cliff Notes AP…I was at the Cliff Notes AP web site and saw all subject to study on their web site is it full review like on SparkNotes or just summary of the book Cliff Notes AP ??

Is it really necessary to study from Cliff Notes AP Biology to score 790~800? I bought both

Cliff Notes AP Bio and Barron’s SAT Bio books and checked out Kaplan and Princeton Review

from library. Is studying from Kaplan, TPR, and Barron’s SAT Bio will give me 790~800?

Can someone tell me I m planning to repeat test from molecular biology and I m very poor in experiment like labarotory…I have Barron and Princeton book but I can’t learn from these two book…do you know which book is good to make a bit better knowledge in this section…Help!!!

I’m a junior now, but I took an honors biology course in 9th grade, the usual “honors biology” class for freshmen. I got a 770 on Bio M. I used Barron’s to study and it was great prep. Just read through it a couple of times and you’ll be golden. Barron’s teaches you the information you need to know.

Then, if you can, buy the other review books for the practice test value. It’s all about practicing the questions once you’ve read Barron’s.

You DO NOT need to study at the AP level. I was just a little freshman, no AP background. The same is true for many other students taking the test. Studying the AP books will cause you to lose focus and become overwhelmed. Study the specific SAT II review books and you’ll do fine.

Other students in my class used the same method and got 790s, etc.

Good luck! :)

Barron’s SAT Bio. Got me a 770.

Princeton Review’s AP Bio, AP Bio material released from college board and College Board’s SAT subject test book for practice tests.

barrons sat 2 bio book’s tests are ridiculous. im a strong bio student and i keep getting like 710. any hopes of getting 800 on the real thing?

As a final review, I am going to go over Barron’s one more time.

Hey all,
Now I’m not really aiming for anything great, I just really wanna pass or like 500 would be good, This is ganna be the third time for me(although the first time I didnt really study) Anyway so does anyone know how I can just at least pass? And which is easier to pass, E or M? Clearly I am not going into any Medical major, it’s just I need 7 SAT 2 Subjects, requirements of uni’s here And there are only a few days left, I did study but not that well and well I studied last time and got a 440 Please help anyone??

HI :)

you should definitely buy PR book.Everything there is explained in very very easy way.

So u will answer questions after preparing with PR.

Is anyone reading Barron’s or TPR like reading a novel, such as Harry Potter?

And I just checked out Kaplan’s SAT Bio from local library…is Kaplan any good in terms of

details? I think I heard couple students saying that Kaplan’s SAT Bio is even more

detailed than Barron’s…

Yeah, just reading Barron’s over again like a book… I heard Kaplan isn’t super great for bio review though :/
