Hey Everybody!
I just found out that I got a measly 600 on my SAT II Bio Test!!!
I dont know what happened that Saturday morning!!!! Look, Im someone who took AP Biology last year, got A's both semester and recieved a 3 on the AP test!!!
Can someone please tell me what the college ppl (FYI: I hope to major in biochem/chem @ UCSD ; Im gonna be a hs senior) will say about such a odd and peculiar scenario?! Isnt this just outrageous that I got a 600!! (one thing I didnt study anything bio related since my 10th grade year in AP Bio)
I know Ill definitley study (EMPHASIS on study) actually unlike last time and for sure will improve this despicable test score which regretfully will be a part of my otherwise flawless and perfect school record.
I WANNA CRY!! AT least i got a 730 for Math Level 2! but I still wanna cry!!!

BUMP! PLZZZZZZZZZz

It can work out strange like that. One of my friends in AP US who is a hardworker took the AP and probably got a 5 but took the SAT II and didn't even break the 600 mark. I got a 790 only because history is my passion, and even then I struggled on some of the questions - usually I plough through the material.

If you are going into Biochem...hate to say it but you really needed to have nailed that SAT II to try and make up for the slightly lower AP.

I've been studying for the fall Bio this summer and I have found so many gaps in my knowlege even from taking AP Bio last year. I suggest really going in depth and trying to understand things from a molecular level rather than just memorizing the basics. Seems unecessary but the SAT IIs can be tricky - there's no 'easy' way to prepare.

I'm putting together a bio study group for the summer - you might be interested. My username here is the same as my AIM.

what about gtting a 670 with a 4 AP score?
majoring in biology
plus, applying to UPitt as first choice, not requireing or recommending SATIIs

It's okay. It's just a subject test score. Maybe if you got a 500, but a 600 won't break you, especially if you have a 730 in math.
