I'm taking Ap Bio this year, and I will only get done about 1/3 of it when i take the SAT 2 in biology. How much extra preparation do you think i will need, and can you please suggest some books. I'm good with science, so please take that into account (5 on Ap chem, 790 on chem sat 2).

use kaplan sat II bio book..its the best

the practice tests are not realistic at all though.

ya thats true, you'll probably score lower on the kaplan practice tests than on the real sat II. but i've heard the princeton review doesnt have enough info and barrons is overly detailed

I had reasonable success with the sparknotes sat ii bio

Is Cliff's AP any good for the SAT II?

like n00bi said go for Kaplan's. I found Barrons and PR way too cryptic. Kaplans was just right.

i liked sparknotes and PR practice tests...the barrons is good, if you want to learn everything (probably too much for the test itself)..but doesnt hurt

i don't like kaplan for some reason... i always find their questions on their practice tests quite different from the real test questions..but tahts just me ;)
