SAT II Chemistry May 2012

Okay. So I've been preparing for this since winter break. And during spring break. But then I rested for a while, and I've been studying like crazy now. The test is in about 4 hours and I'm freaking out. alksdfjal;kfslfsldfasdkf

Anyways, if anyone else is taking it, good luck!

And hopefully, we'll be able to share answers later today.

I just took it, and I missed ALOT of questions cuz they were stochiometry and I thought I would get to them when I am done with the easy ones, i skipped maybe around 18-20!! Soo ****ed!

i skipped around 6
i dont think it was THAT difficult but i may have gotten a lot wrong

what were the answers for the radiation problems?

are we allowed to say how many T T CE we got or no?

just took chem. Didn’t think it was that bad. When can we officially start discussing questions?

^ haha I know why you asked that. All I can say was that I was surprised by the number of TTCE.

Anyway…wow. I think I should cancel. I skipped NINE!!! So much! I thought the questions were pretty easy, but my pacing was screwed up. Way to slow. Lots of long math-intensive questions at the end.

nfldkdnfnf ohmylord. that was hard. i skipped like 10… our proctor forgot to call out the time so i am just effed. that was REALLY hard. i was praying that it would be easy but i sort of knew it would be hard because ocy nov and jan were all easy…

My pacing sucked too, I left the easy stoic questions for later cuz they required calculations; but the other stupid questions took my time. And about the tt ce questions, there was like 1 that had a “ce” in it

I might retake it, what do u guys think of the June test, easy or hard?

I got one TT CE as well. What did you get for “what radiation does earth emit?” I put infrared. What do think the curve for an 800 is going to be this year?

The answer to the radiation question was infrared.
I put two TT CE but I guessed on one of them so I probably got it wrong.

I put 2 TTCE’s. I think I was confident about this, but of course I could be wrong. One of them was the reaction of similar ratios for moles and volumes. I dont remember the other one I put. What was the other one that people put (if you put any)?
And i think other than super bashy stoich, it was relatively easy… and im a math guy, so that wasnt a problem. knock on wood
Also, couldnt we get in trouble for discussion test questions? I remember that the rules said dont discuss, and I smiled because I knew everyone on CC discussed as soon as they got home…
And now that I think about it, if i lived in California, I wouldnt have even began the test now…

param: yes and yes. I can’t remember if I had 1 or 2 TTCEs. I know I had a lot of FTs.

Are you guys canceling? And was this considered an easy test? (this is my first time taking chem sat)

for some reason i don’t remember any extensive stoich problems. what are some examples? And i got 2 TTCEs but i’m not sure

I got 3 CEs, and alot of FTs.

well there was a balancing redox and i was like…no. Some long acid/base and stoic on the last two pages

No this was rather difficult, then one in feb had limited math problems, compared to this one.

for the one when it asked which gave 1.0 M of HCl, was the answer the one with 9 L of water or something?
