SAT II Chemistry test question

I searched but did not find the answer, so I am sorry if it is in there. My daughter will be a sophomore and taking chemistry. It is an honors course, AP is not offered. She would like to take the SAT II for Chemistry at the conclusion of the course at the end of her sophomore year to avoid taking so many SAT II's the next year at the same time she has two AP exams. My question is can you take a subject test without taking the SAT I? My guess is the answer is no just judging from the pricing on the College Board page, but I don't see a written answer. Thanks, this is our first venture in SAT II and AP exams so I am sure I will have many questions.

Yes, you can take a subject test without having taken the SAT reasoning test.
And you can’t take them on the same day, if that’s what you were thinking…
