SAT II Dilemma!!!!!

Hey guys, I just came back from taking Math IIC and Physics. I was originally signed up for Chem instead of Physics, considering that I took Honors Chem this year, but I've been hearing that the subject test has a lot of AP material.

Worried I wouldn't do so well on Chem, I decided last week that I would take Physics instead of Chem, as I have had a keen interest in Physics ever since I took a summer class after freshman year. After studying 2-3 hours a day for the past week, taking practice tests and reviewing concepts, I felt I did pretty well. However, I haven't ever taken a class in Physics at my high school, and that summer class does not show up in my transcript.

My question is, would colleges see this and become suspicious? How would I go about indicating my interest and that I self-studied for the Physics subject test?

Subject tests are a way to demonstrate an area of particular skill - so it shouldn't matter that you haven't taken the class at your school. Somewhere in your application you should say that you self studied (for clarification ad b/c it's another thing to add to the list)

Thanks for the input, sophia. Any other thoughts would be appreciated.

"I've been hearing that the subject test has a lot of AP material."

I'm in honors chem, and there were like 6 AP Q's. As long as you do practice books, you are read for it.
